SPOILERS FOR UNDERTALE CONTAINED WITHIN

I'm also throwing up a warning that if you're triggered by things like suicide, murder, child abuse, bullying, etc. then Chara might be upsetting for you to play with. Also, while I lean towards the "soft" Chara interpretation they're still capable of murder, hatred, and generally being awful towards others.

• Their name is pronounced with a hard C- think Kara or "Chara as in 'character."
• IDs as nonbinary, please use they/them pronouns.
• Ten years old, give or take some decades of being dead and resets. (They're eleven in castle_perrault )
• Compliant with the passive!Chara or narrator!Chara theory, which means their consciousness accompanies Frisk on all possible routes and is the one feeding us the narration and other flavor text.
• Chara is aware of the existence of the player, but doesn't understand their/our nature beyond that of a third presence in Frisk's mind who directs the two of them around the Underground with vague, but intractable commands. ("heckle" for example.)
• Usually taken from towards the end of a No Mercy run, without having ever gone through a Pacifist run. This means they're pretty hardened and bitter but aren't totally broken yet.
